I specialize in all aspects of promotion for small businesses, community organizations and non-profits in the Iowa City / Cedar Rapids Corridor. I have experience in traditional media (print, radio, television), as well as new media (email campaigns, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) which allows me to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for you.

Whether it's writing press releases, contacting news outlets, managing advertising campaigns, coordinating events or customizing your Twitter and Facebook pages, I take the time to think about and meet your promotional and media needs so you don't have to.

Who I Am

I have a genuine love for local/small businesses and organizations and a passion for communicating new and exciting ideas and opportunities. I love brainstorming. I relish in the opportunity to come up with new, creative, even unusual ways to get people talking about your unique business or organization.

I am a native Eastern Iowan with four years of experience in the Corridor working with local newspapers, radio stations and television stations promoting more than 300 events annually for a large University of Iowa department. I have a bachelor's degree in communications and graduate training in professional journalism.
